🎃 Halloween at Drake Planetarium! 👻

Get ready for a Halloween adventure that’s out of this world! Join us at Drake Planetarium and Science Center on Saturday, October 17, 2026, for a special day of Halloween-themed planetarium shows designed for the whole family.
 

During each one-hour program, you’ll journey through the night sky with a live, instructor-led presentation exploring the stars, planets, constellations, and some fun Halloween-themed astronomy. Then, sit back and enjoy a special Halloween OMNIMAX® show on the planetarium dome!
 

👻 Costumes Encouraged!

Come dressed in your favorite Halloween costume! We’ll be hosting a family-friendly costume contest, so bring your best spooky, silly, creative, or out-of-this-world costume. Whether you come as a witch, astronaut, monster, superhero, or something completely unique, we want to see it!

🌙 Showtimes

Choose the showtime that works best for your family:

• 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM

• 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM

• 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM

Each show is approximately one hour.

$8 per person

Space is limited, so advance registration is recommended. This is a family-friendly event appropriate for all ages, making it the perfect way to enjoy a little Halloween fun together before the holiday arrives.
