Camps are held at Drake Science Center
Our Summer STEM Camps run Monday–Friday and feature two completely different camps each day—one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Families may choose a half-day option or enjoy the full-day experience.

💰 2026 Early Pricing
Our nonprofit mission allows us to keep pricing far more affordable than most STEM camps in the region, while still offering high-quality materials, robotics, science labs, and hands-on engineering. Many families also receive tax benefits for enrolling in nonprofit educational programs.

Half Day (AM or PM): $225/week

Full Day (AM + Lunch + PM): $375/week
Includes two unique STEM camps per day, lunch provided, and seven full hours of hands-on STEM learning.

A completed registration form with full payment or a non-refundable 50% deposit is required to reserve your spot.

Deposits (50% of total tuition) are non-refundable.

Remaining balances are due 30 days before your camp week begins.

A $25 late processing fee will be added for overdue balance payments.

Planetarium Members receive a 10% discount on Half-Day Camps.

K-1 Camps
Week 1: June 8–12, 2026

AM: LEGO Zoo Adventures
Step into the wild world of the LEGO Zoo! Campers will design and build their favorite animals—lions, elephants, penguins, and more—using colorful LEGO bricks. Through hands-on projects, storytelling, and interactive games, children explore animal habitats, behaviors, and conservation. Every day offers a new challenge, from constructing realistic habitats to creating imaginative zoo scenarios. Fun, creativity, and learning come together for a roaringly good time!

PM: Young Engineers
Calling all future innovators! Campers will tackle exciting engineering challenges, constructing bridges, vehicles, and imaginative machines using LEGO bricks and other building materials. Activities encourage teamwork, problem-solving, and creative thinking. Children will learn how to design, test, and improve their creations while exploring the fundamentals of engineering in a playful, hands-on environment.
Week 2: June 15–19, 2026

AM: All About Animals
Campers explore the diversity of the animal kingdom through engaging activities, crafts, and games. From discovering animal adaptations to simulating habitats, children gain hands-on understanding of wildlife and ecosystems. Creativity, teamwork, and curiosity make this an interactive and educational experience.

PM: Lil’ Artists
Inspire creativity with fun and expressive art projects! Campers experiment with painting, drawing, sculpture, and mixed media while exploring color, texture, and design. Each day introduces new techniques and mediums, encouraging self-expression and confidence through artistic discovery.

AM: Dino Discovery
Step back in time to the age of dinosaurs! Campers build LEGO dinosaur models, create crafts, and participate in interactive games that explore prehistoric life. Learn about fossils, species, and ecosystems while engaging in imaginative play and hands-on STEM challenges.

Explore ecosystems, weather, and the natural world with hands-on experiments and projects. Campers learn about sustainability, environmental science, and the interconnectedness of life on Earth in a fun, interactive way.
Week 4: July 6–10, 2026

AM: Little Astronauts
Explore planets, stars, and the universe with fun activities, crafts, and immersive Planetarium experiences. Campers engage in age-appropriate astronomy activities that spark curiosity and wonder.

PM: Creative Builders
Campers use LEGO and other building materials to design structures, machines, and imaginative creations. Problem-solving, creativity, and hands-on exploration make every project an exciting learning adventure.

AM: Paper Science
Discover physics and engineering through hands-on paper experiments! Campers design and build structures, bridges, and creative projects while learning problem-solving skills in a playful environment.

PM: Toy Tinkering
Campers explore how toys work by taking them apart and reassembling them. Fun experiments teach engineering and mechanics concepts while fostering curiosity and creativity.

2-3 Camps
Week 1: June 8–12, 2026

AM: Little Astronauts
Launch into a cosmic adventure! Campers explore planets, stars, and galaxies through interactive games, crafts, and storytelling. Highlights include designing “alien friends” and observing the night sky during visits to Drake Planetarium. Each activity sparks curiosity and wonder while building knowledge of astronomy and the universe. Children leave the week inspired by the wonders of space!

PM: LEGO WeDo I
Dive into the world of robotics and programming! Campers use LEGO WeDo 1.0 to build interactive robots that move, respond, and complete challenges. Through hands-on problem-solving and experimentation, children develop critical STEM skills while having fun bringing their robotic creations to life. Teamwork, creativity, and curiosity drive every activity.
Week 2: June 15–19, 2026

Journey through the cosmos with interactive activities and Planetarium sessions! Campers investigate planets, moons, constellations, and space phenomena. Hands-on experiments, story-based learning, and immersive experiences make space science engaging, memorable, and fun.

Take robotics to the next level with LEGO WeDo 2.0! Campers design, build, and program robots to complete increasingly complex challenges. Teamwork, engineering thinking, and problem-solving skills are emphasized in a supportive, creative environment.
Week 3: June 22–26, 2026

AM: Mini Sphero
Campers learn programming and robotics using Sphero robots. Fun challenges and games build STEM skills while encouraging creativity, teamwork, and experimentation. Each session is full of excitement and problem-solving opportunities.

Campers become inventors! Using LEGO and other materials, they design, build, and test innovative creations. Daily challenges encourage experimentation, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving.

Campers design, build, and program LEGO rovers to navigate exciting obstacle courses and challenges. Hands-on STEM activities encourage teamwork, engineering thinking, and creativity.

Travel back in time to explore prehistoric life! Campers learn about fossils, ancient creatures, and the Earth’s history through interactive activities, LEGO builds, and hands-on games.

4-8 Camps
Week 1: June 8–12, 2026

Advance your robotics skills! Campers program robots to perform increasingly complex tasks using block-based coding. Daily missions and creative challenges develop critical thinking, engineering skills, and teamwork. By the end of the week, campers will create their own robotics challenges, exploring programming, mechanics, and design in a highly engaging environment.

Explore the universe at Drake Planetarium! Campers will investigate planets, stars, and galaxies through hands-on experiments, interactive presentations, and guided Planetarium sessions. They’ll uncover the mysteries of the cosmos while developing scientific observation skills and a deeper appreciation for the wonders of space.

Design and program LEGO SPIKE robots to tackle hands-on engineering challenges. Campers explore mechanical systems, coding, and teamwork while creating projects that are both educational and fun.
