Kick off the afternoon with our Fall Skies Over Cincinnati Live Star Show, where you'll journey through the twinkling autumn night sky, guided by our expert astronomers. Next, immerse yourself in a spooky, family-friendly full-dome Halloween show that’s sure to delight stargazers young and old.

After the planetarium shows, the fun continues with games, prizes, tricks, and plenty of treats! Kids and families can enjoy Halloween-themed activities, including a dress-up contest—so come in your best costumes for a chance to win out-of-this-world prizes!

Please arrive promptly at 12:00 PM, as the planetarium shows will begin before the games and contests. Don’t miss this galactic Halloween adventure at Drake Planetarium!

Where is Drake Planetarium located?
Drake Planetarium is located inside Norwood High School at 2020 Sherman Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio. We are situated on the top floor of the high school. Elevators and ramps are available, and the facility is ADA compliant.

Where can I park?
Parking is available on street parking, public lots, and in the Norwood Middle School lot at 2060 Sherman Avenue.

 

What is a planetarium?
A planetarium is a theater-like space designed to simulate the night sky, using a projector to display stars, planets, and other celestial objects on a domed ceiling. It offers an immersive experience to learn about astronomy, explore constellations, and enjoy educational or themed shows, like our "Fall Skies Over Cincinnati" live star show and family-friendly Halloween full-dome show.
