Sun, Seasons, and Directions
This second grade show illustrates how the Sun's direct rays change over a period of time creating the phenomena of seasons. Students will learn how to find their directions in both the day and night sky. Also, some characteristics of the sun will be presented to the students to illustrate the physical properties of a star.

Students will be introduced to the relationship between the planets, the moon, and our star, the Sun. Students will understand which planets are visible in the current night sky and a special lab will be presented on that planet during the program. Also, select seasonal constellations will be identified by students during their lab experience.
Halloween Sky
Your second grade class will enjoy the story of Penny and her friends: Leo the Lion, Orion the Hunter, and Cygnus the Swan. Penny and your students will learn how to use their constellation friends to find their way through the nighttime sky. This is a fun way for students to get acquainted with the various seasonal star patterns.
